DEVASTATION AND CATASTROPHE--- NATURAL AND UNNATURAL
We are overwhelmed by the news of thousands killed on the other side of the world, by a huge earthquake (temblor) beneath the sea, with resultant huge tidal waves (tsunami), 30 feet high, swamping and destroying structures and people in its terrifying wake.

Imagine being slammed by a boat which is tossed upon you, crushing you in an instant, or maybe not right away, every bone is broken and it takes an hour for you to die.
Imagine working in an office in the World Trade Center and in a second you look out the window and coming right at you is a Boeing 757. In a second you are crushed and incinerated. Imagine working in another lighting wholesale office in the World Trade Center and the ceiling comes down on your head and in a fraction of a second you are squashed like a bug.
Imagine playing golf and there are dark clouds above, but you want to putt the last hole and a bolt of lightning hits you on the top of your head and you are a charred mass of flesh in two seconds.
Imagine enjoying the scenery driving down a two lane country road and another car, coming at seventy crosses the center line and hits you head on. It was a drunk or a guy who fell asleep at the wheel.
Imagine enjoying your life and then getting bad headaches and then wild personality changes and seizures and being told that you have an inoperable brain tumor and you have only days to live.
Imagine learning that your family was killed in a car accident or a house fire.
Imagine that nuclear war broke out and the government tells you to evacuate or find shelter to escape deadly radioactivity.
Imagine that you are safe and sound and have nothing to worry about.
